Earth Greeting cards

I am very pleased to include Earth Greeting cards in my Christmas ornament orders.

I hope you like them and the idea behind these cards. I think the cards can become more than just a seasonal greeting. When planted and cared for the cards become a beautiful array of wild flowers to be admired and enjoyed for years to come.

Wishing you and yours all the very best this Christmas and the New Year - Rachel :)

About Earth Card
This Earth Card is embedded with wildflower seeds and will bloom when planted. Lotka paper is made from the bark of the Daphne bush which regenerates naturally providing a renewable resource. This paper is acid free and will benefit the economic enterprise of rural craftspeople in Nepal. Planting this Earth Card will produce flowers if properly cared for.

Planting Guide
This Earth Card can be put directly into the soil in a pot or in your garden. The soil should be firmed down after sowing and the seeds should not be more than 4 mm deep. They must be kept moist for 4-6 weeks and receive 4 hours of sunlight each day in order to germinate properly. Many wildflowers are drought tolerant once established, but must receive adequate water as they sprout. For best results plant in the Spring or early Summer.

These cards were sourced and printed by another small Irish business - The Paper Shop
