One heart is finished in 24 karat gold lustre and fired for a third time, while another carries a mother of pearl sheen, bringing subtle balance and light to the piece. The floating balloon arrangement sits on a polished porcelain surface, with hand-drawn ribbons finished in translucent glaze.
